Volunteers & Donations
Meet Recycle Livingston, the only non-profit recycling center serving the residents of Livingston County since 1989. Since our beginning, we have relied on volunteer support so we can provide our services at a minimal cost and be available to everyone. Many of the materials we accept are difficult and expensive to recycle.

We are open on Saturdays from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm and on Wednesdays from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm. We welcome any hours you have to volunteer. If you can, please call ahead and let us know when to expect you or you can always surprise us and come when it is convenient for you.

As people come to the site to recycle, our volunteers unload, sort, and place the items where they belong. Or perhaps you would like to donate some time in the office, join our Board of Directors, or help us with our scrapbook! There are many ways to donate your time.

Fundraising for Groups
Recycle Livingston is offering this program to non-profit organizations, school groups, and youth organizations. We will donate all the returnable cans and bottles for your group as a fund raiser, while you provide volunteers to staff the recycle site. All returnable items collected during a normal site operation day will be donated to your group.

Sponsor a Volunteer Day
Recycle Livingston is asking for sponsors to provide volunteers during our site days. Talk to us about a date that would be convenient for your group. When your group sponsors a recycle collection day, we would appreciate it if you could provide eight or more volunteers to work part of, or all of, a site day shift. We will do our best to make the day sunny and fun!!! And please let us know how we can promote your group; photos in our newsletter, on our website, or perhaps you have some exciting information we could hand out to our visitors.
Donations
Recycle Livingston relies on donations to continue operating and improving service. All financial contributions made to Recycle Livingston given beyond the memberships fees are fully tax deductible. In addition, Recycle Livingston would greatly appreciate donations of the following items: work gloves, safety vests, hand and foot warmers, free coupons for volunteers, newer small refrigerator, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, snacks, pizza, among other items.
