Volunteers & Donations
Recycle Livingston is run almost entirely by hard working volunteers. We
are always looking for people to work at the site performing various tasks such
as Greeters, Sorters, Team Leader, and Unloaders. Site Volunteers help sort goods
for a couple of hours on Wednesdays between 12:00 and 6:00PM, and Saturdays
between 9:00AM and 2:00PM. If you are interested in helping, please

In addition, Recycle Livingston is always looking for people willing to donate their time and who have special skills. Currently we're looking for folks with the following skills: Handyperson; Scrapbook Historian who could work here sometime during the week in the morning.
Fundraising for Groups
Recycle Livingston is offering this program for non-profit organizations, school groups and youth organizations. The purpose is to allow each organization the opportunity to collect returnable cans and bottles as a fund raiser, while providing volunteers to staff the recycle site. There will be only one group per month, so there will be a total of twelve groups per year. Groups will only be allowed to volunteer for the fund raiser once a year. All returnables collected during normal site operations in the designated month will go to the organization. The main bottle drive will be held on the last Saturday of the month, which will be staffed by the organization's volunteers.
In addition to the bottles, a portion of the gate fees will be given to the organization.

Sponsor a Volunteer Day
Recycle Livingston is asking for sponsors to provide volunteers during recycling hours for sorting recycled items on Wednesdays between 12 noon to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Talk to us about a date that would be convenient for your group.
When your group sponsors a recycle collection day you provide eight or more volunteers splitting splitting their hours to help sort items.
In exchange for helping recycling efforts, you can hang a banner on our inside fence for three months. Your volunteer day will also be recognized in our quarterly newsletter and on our website.

Donations
Recycle Livingston relies on donations to continue operating and improving service. Financial contributions made to Recycle Livingston are fully tax deductible. In addition, Recycle Livingston would greatly appreciate donations of the following items: pens and pencils, gardening tools, free coupons for volunteers, newer small refrigerator, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, lawn tools, hand tools, first aid equipment. Call the office if you have a donation of a special type.
VG's Receipts
When you drop off your recyclables, remember to bring in your VG's receipts. Recycle Livingston earns money for every dollar you spend at VG's.
